Moderator note:  I have re-opened the discussion only momentarily to add back in the autograph that was being discussed.  Lana, please leave it up.

When we are discussing a particular image/autograph we do not remove the photo, as it may serve to help someone in the future looking for Sharon Tates autograph.

I will re-close the discussion since you closed it, as it looks like you are through getting opinions.

I reccommend you reach out to Dr. Gary Brucato of www.thecead.com. He is an expert in vintage material, and he posts on this site.

So, is this one more likely to be authentic?

See, the only 'difference' I am talking about is the way she writes her S's and crosses her T's. I have seen her write her S's like she does here, on the check / photo you just listed, and how she does in my autograph (same way she does in pen, on this Ebay auction), and, also, William, you are getting on my nerves. You think you are the only person to have seen obtained in person autographs by her? My ex boyfriend's family is from the LA area, and from the area within a 30 mile radius of Cielo drive. His great granny and his other family members actually met Sharon and got her signature, in person, and when I went to visit their home in Cali, they showed me various different signatures, and she is very consistent, except sometimes, her S changes and sometimes, the way she crosses her T changes. In person, I have seen several different autographs, obtained in person, and yes, sometimes she signs like she does on the check, but sometimes, she does it like she does on my autograph, and in the ebay link I just linked.

So, seriously, stop arguing with me and saying the same story about how you've seen her sign two things similarly, months apart. Even in letters addressed to old friends, relatives, etc. she goes back and forth on how she signs her S's and does her T's.

Like I said, I have seen her autographs in person from legit sources, while in California, and I HAVE seen her sign the way she does in my autograph / this ebay auction I linked to / AND how she does in the check. I have been following her for ten years. If you say "But I have seen her autograph twice, done such and such months apart, and it looks nothing like yours" one more time, I will seriously get annoyed. Because guess what? I've seen her autograph, too, and I can promise you she does switch things up, sometimes.

Then what the hell is the point of you posting this whole thread, lady? For attention? My god. "don't tell me this- don't tell me that". THEN DON'T POST ON A PUBLIC FORUM. You're telling people stuff about this auto being legit and you "KNOW" it's legit- then why ask for opinions?! You're the one who's annoying people. You're crowding up the forum with hypocritical comments. Grow up. And stop complaining. You're getting on MY nerves.
