I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

Clearly you aren't aware of her signing habbits. That has a large SW logo on it, and traditionally she'd never sign such a thing. When she does sign (which is rare as hell) she's been known to comb over anything that's even remotely related to SW. Hounds try to get SW images that aren't easily identifiable (no strange hair/makeup/etc) and she skips right over them. That image must've been in a SW fan magazine and may have been taken at a premiere for II or III.But know that that logo would normally be a deal killer.

Could be by the time she realized that the logo was there, she already started signing. It would of looked bad for her if she just stopped signing her name. Just my opinion.

I understand how rare her signature is on any Star Wars item with the SW logo/image!

Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster. Can you please post it? Thanks1

Very nice! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks.  No problem.

Did you just post Mike's Portman on rebelscum, asking if it's real?

Nope. That is as real as it gets!

Perhaps it was Garindan assisting in an investigation of the authenticity of some of the items in my collection.

I suppose most of you have seen the Mark Hamill Carrie Fisher private signing at Official Pix. Deadline is Monday for pre-orders.

As much as I'd love to order a pic signed by both, I'm really struggling to find a pic I like. My criteria is the photo must:

  • Have just the both of them -- don't want other people pictured that I would feel like I have to add later
  • Clean, light background that will provide good contrast for sigs
  • Strong pose of each.

There are only a handful of possible poses and they all fall flat IMO. Ugh.

Any thoughts? What are others doing?

I ordered an 11x14 metallix photo of the Carrie Fisher beach shot.
