Mickey Mantle Autographed Photo Forgery AtAuction.com COA GFA Steve Rocchi

I wanted to bring attention to the latest version of the "Florida" Mickey Mantle forgery listed by www.atauction.com and "forensically authenticated (what a freakin' bad joke)" by Steve Rocchi and Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators.

Mr. Rocchi must be real proud of himself to be thought of in the same circles as Chris Morales, Drew Max, Ted Taylor and others.

Rick, I have no idea how they (AtAuction.com) continues to sell that crap.

I wish I could write more, but this garbage should have been closed down at least two years ago.

It's been five years since we first discovered these "Florida" forgeries on AAFES and AlwaysAtAuction.com.

I am very disappointed that this continues.

As much disdain as I have for Chris Morales, I hold that same disdain for Steve Rocchi.

AAFES ditched them after they failed to make commission payments. This at least cost them easy access to service members who could use DPP(AAFES credit card) to buy the stuff. Every little bit helps. There items closing prices have dropped about 30% as well.

Hopefully they keep getting hit here and there.

what baffles me is that you do not need to be well versed in Mantle's signatures to realize this is a forgery. Look at the shakiness and the starts/stops.

UBID sells ton of Steve "The Crook" Rocchi forgeries every month. The buyer then sells them eBay..... Pathetic

I wouldn't insult GAI that way. While GAI became corrupted with many bad signatures, there was actually a time when they had some credibility. To my recollection, I have NEVER seen an authentic autograph with a GFA COA.
