Slowly drawn and malformed is an understatement.
That is certainly one ugly Mickey Mantle forgery.
I hope the buyer submits it to PSA or JSA. They will deem that Mantle a forgery in a millisecond.
What a piece-of-crap.
Morons. it came from Blue Chip Sports.AUTHENTIC!
Who is Blue Chip Sports and why should we trust them?
Does their COA erase the fact that this is a slowly drawn, and deformed fake?
Sorry, Denise, that "Mantle" signature I posted here is an obvious forgery and a poorly executed forgery.
BUT IT'S FROM BLUE CHIP. IT MUUUUUUST BE REAL!!!!
BLUE CHIP SAYS IT'S REALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!
LOL
I LOVE it when the sellers of lousy fakes show up to defend pure junk. It makes for great message board theater.
Thank you for commenting Denise (seller of the ball). We havent had a good laugh here in a while with a seller of forgeries defend there junk. Very funny, but please tell us what authentic traits you see in the ball. And have you sold any other forgeries like this in the past?
It probably took the forger at least an hour to pen that Mantle forgery.
Now now... Blue Chip says it's authentic.
That's good enough for Denise, it should be good enough for us. LOL
Also it should be noted this is on a Budig ball. As most collectors know, Mantle had a very narrow window to sign these balls prior to his death. The vast majority of Mantle signatures on Budig balls are not authentic.
i sent this one to someone the other day and was LMAO might have been Ryan...
