Ebay sellers of forgeries flock to Ebay to sell their forgeries because they know it is an easy venue to sell their forgeries to wannabe autograph collectors.

The added inscription "NO 7" also helped attract the wannabe autograph collectors to buy this garbage.

You should also know that now that anyone searches your ebay name on google, this thread will come up front and center. You could have come off looking like a reasonable and honest seller, had you responded in a civil manner and realized the ball was bad (in the event you were unaware of it). But you took the typical way that sellers of realized forgeries always do. Pitty. There is no way to turn it around now. Us Morons are here to save collectors money, and if us Morons can save someone one penny from being spent on forgeries like the one you are selling, then its worth it, to us Morons.

You should also know, that the guy who you have been speaking with, Chris Williams, is basically the best Mantle expert in the world. And the other baseball guys on here (not myself) are also among the best in the world.

We deleted the seller's account, per her request. She said she got it from Blue Chip Sports and felt it was genuine.

You know, I tend to have a bit more sympathy with forgery sellers who genuinely don't know what they're doing. But when you come in with that attitude and call people morons because you have no clue at all what you were doing when you sold that autograph, all the crap you get as a result is well-earned. The correct tone should have been inquisitive, if not apologetic.
