Here is a Lennon i purchased back in 1998. After a few years I began to doubt its authenticity. This one still gets me. Real or fake?!?!? I would love to say real, but I just cant pull the trigger! Tell me what you guys think.

Well, again, I can't say that the "O" looks okay. In my opinion, it looks very different from the other examples.

None of the Os are the same in any of the photos.

They each follow a similar path that differs from the example that you posted.

I can see what you are saying. But we can get to technical trying  to convince ourselves that John did not sign it.

In my opinion to me theres a few things that make me feel that the smaller autograph is not genuine but the main two are firstly the size of the loop on the main 'J' of John, Its usually smaller and more compact and secondly there is a definite break between the 'h' in John were it meets the 'L' in Lennon, but most of Lennons autographs especially from this period usually flow straight from John to Lennon. This for me would make me say it wasn't real. Again its just my opinion hope it helps.

I would say fake. The "o" is wrong and the "h" normally is much sharper.

Yes, I'm certain this is authentic. Probably done at WFIL studios in Philadelphia in the mid 70s. How do I know? Because that's where I got my autograph from John Lennon in person...and it looks very much like that one. I will be glad to post a pic of it if anyone is interested. I'm here because the PSA people have my autograph "under review". I know it's real, because I was the one he autographed for.

Please show us your  John Lennon autograph. I love to see real ones.

Ok, I'll upload a pic to you in a little while.

Large pic...scroll down when it opens. I hope this helps you guys. I will send a pic of the cert when it comes in. Next time you see a sloppy authograph from John like this, grab it, it's the real thing.

That is not so rushed. It's a nice auto. It's real based on everything I've learned about Lennon auto's I've done my share of research but I'm no expert.

why did you send it to PSA for an opinion on authenticity on something you obtained in person?
