it is a forgery
You can buy holograms online for cheap. So they are completely useless and used to throw off people who don't know better.
Looks like Joe tried to sign it as it was actually tumbling in the dryer.
Not the best picture, but I agree with Terrier it looks way off. Don't waste your money on junk with worthless "COA"s. This type of piece would have a JSA or PSA/DNA LOA with it if authentic to maximize the value. You wouldn't buy this and have some random goober give you a "COA".
Holograms/COAs are just stickers and pieces of paper. Nothing more. Any auction that says "Comes with COA and matching hologram!"= run like hell.
A quick Google search of "All American Sports Collectibles" shows a link from Brett Favre's website, asking them to remove "fraudulent" Favre signed jerseys from their online store. I know it doesn't mean that the DiMaggio is fake, but I wouldn't touch it.
Yikes!!!!!
Did Jeter sign it whilst on a roller coaster?
Dearest Jordan,
worry about buying an authentic Joe Dimaggio Jersey PERIOD. Please don't get caught up with the NEED to buy an "authenticated" Dimaggio Jersey. As my friend Daffy Duck used to say...."ah ha, PRONOUN TROUBLE". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e1hZGDaqIw
As you can see, there are 1000's upon 1000's of "authenticated" FAKES. That's part of the scam. Worry about buying one that's real and you'll be on your way to beating the game. That's what Fudd thinks and much like Bo before me, "Fudd knows"
