I was surprised that there's actually an active market for a ball signed by Jeter when he was eight.  It already has a $3000 bid two weeks before the auction's close.

That's funny, Terrier.

The only Jeter autographs I collect are his early autographs.

In my opinion, they are his most attractive and unique autographs because his autograph changed frequently over a five year period.

This item is not actually new to market. It sold for over 14K in REA's last auction.

Oops, had to update this, as it actually looks like a different ball! One was given to the manager and one was the coach...

With REA auction, interesting about the difficulty JSA authenticating Jeter's signature because there was no comparable one.
