Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

Did you see he unloaded the fake Billie Jean AMA award too?   http://www.ebay.com/itm/Michael-Jackson-American-Music-Award-Billie...   He sold it for  $2,600.00.  I totally missed this.  How much did he say he paid Makris for this?  50k?  I know when I asked Makris about it he said, "no way did he pay me THAT much" then I asked Makris where HE got it from, and he said "I can't remember, I'd have to look it up"  lol!  Thats when I said, well its interesting that you sold "blank AMA awards too"... and he said yes - I did, they were not the same as real though, they were smaller than real ones.  Then he diverted to a new topic...

Even better, just a few days ago, he sold the Victory Tour Jacket, which I proved was fake in my original post...

This will never end...

Not Fosaas on this one but Mem Vault and Knaisz

Here we have a sweater sold by Knaisz a few days back  ....  They made US $2,330.00 on it.

Here we have another one by Memorabilia Vault.    It is up to US $4,000.00

Interestingly enough, you can buy that patch with whatever monogrammed here.   https://www.etsy.com/listing/61928526/antique-metal-embroidered-mon...

Knaisz made 887.00 on their Mickey drawing here.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICHAEL-JACKSON-MADE-SIGNED-MICKEY-MOUSE-DR...

I should be adding photos in, the above badge looks like this:  (in case the internet links fail in the future)  https://www.etsy.com/listing/61928526/antique-metal-embroidered-mon...

Here is a patch Lizzy pointed out to me yesterday too.

Well I just found the consigner of the red sweater.  And it is Fossaas.

Link to Fossaas's red sweater on his FB page.

Actual pictures from his page:  (you can click it to see it up close).

Actual photos from the Knaisz auction--- same exact photos.   There are more photos in both folders, but thought two would be enough for the comparison to show exact same photos.

Fossaas also owns a dbl labeled red cardigan that looks like the same one that is in Mem Vaults auction (double labeled with both Dior and Whitten tags).  Both Dior labels have a fringe sticking up on top of the label (a little frayed white pc... you can click all of these to make them larger or go directly to the pages to view yourself)

Here is the sweater on Fossaas FB page:

Here is MV's link to theirs.

This is important because according to Face, Fossaas stated he received a lot of his items from Jason, whom we've shown may be a big part of all of this.

Here's another one Face.  I was cleaning up my bookmarks this evening and came across this... from Knaisz also, which sold last April 2014.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUTHENTIC-MICHAEL-JACKSON-OWNED-AND-STAGE-W..

Same patch again and the ones I mentioned you can buy online.  They pulled in 20k on this auction.

I also found this pretty interesting Face---saw an auction item the other day at Gotta Have it, and I pulled up some other comparisons I had in my files.

Here is a picture you showed me that Jason had with an award for sale.

Here is an album that Eddie Anderson talked about on our forum here. (Eddie is Jason's friend who is supposedly dead now)

And then last month in Gotta Have Rock and Roll, this one pops up:

http://www.gottahaverockandroll.com/Michael_Jackson_Victory_Tour_Wo...

Of course the album is made to Bill Bray, who is also dead...

And you get aviator glasses too!

Another one from Eddie that matches the others:

And another one:

Which matches the Chaplin with a forged Lee Tompkins COA

Which also matches the auto on the blue head drawing which was a tracing...

Which also matches up with this one, although a bit sloppier:

Just wondering how this discussion with 55 pages of posts and images about one of the hobbies biggest topic went to number 14 on the most active list? Something seems wrong when you must dig for a discussion about the hottest topic in the hobby right now (next to the RR situation that is). Anyone else notice this?? Aren't the owner of his site and Mr. Epperson good friends?

Keith there has not been a lot of activity on it lately (it went stale until a few days ago).  Top content is auto generated by how much activity goes on during a certain time period.  If activity continues on it again, it will jump back into one of the top slots.   There are other topics that have a couple hundred pages, and you have to search for them too---when activity slows on topics, they drop out of "top content".
