I am sorting out a collection and came across several signed balls and a couple bats. None came with any worthwhile authentication and I wanted to get an idea of legitimacy, before I decide to send them to PSA. I appreciate any time you take in looking these over.

Only the first Griffey is real....the others are not.    The two bottom balls were prob done by the same person, but I've never seen a real one that looks like that, and it's not the Y that makes it terrible.   The bat is just silly.

The bat is very silly but those last two balls are too

The Mickey Mantle ball and the Griffey with the Rawlings case look authentic in my opinion.  The others look suspect in my opinion.

The top griffey with the black base is real, the rest are fake. The Ichiro is fake as well. Can't speak for the Dimaggio or Mantle but

I appreciate all of the looks guys. Thanks!

Mantle is no doubt authentic, this Joe D is neither a "no doubt authentic" or "no doubt forgery" IMO. The Joe D's that lack the rampant tell-tale signs of speed really bug me, but if forced to decide I would lean towards authentic on this one. Here is a PSA/DNA authenticated Joe D ball that matches up quite well to the one above...

The Griffey all star balls, and the black bat look horrid... No clue on Ichiro.

I wish we had a clearer picture of the Joe D. but from what I can see, it looks like the same style that BJ collectibles was dumping into the market in the 90's.  the "gg" formation is the giveaway.  I do not believe this ball is authentic, but hard to be certain from the photo.  I am referring to the ball in the subject, not the one that Ryan posted. that one is no doubt authentic.

I agree that the "g's" were what I really didn't like and that is usually the give away in my opinion on the Dimaggio forgeries. It is a cut above a lot of the forgeries in my opinion but I still think it is bad.

The G's are bad copies on the opening ball.

Yeah G's look bad but I still think the joe does tol
You don't think the joe looks a little suspicious? I think that's what stands out to me most but I could be wrong

On the DiMaggio, I would say it's not good. Unless it's due to distortion from the ball being off-center, the angles on the J look too forced and drawn.
