Jimmy Carter note written on my letter?

All,

I'd appreciate an opinion on this.... I sent an 8x10 and letter back over the summer, and got his back a week or so ago.  Thoughts?

A bit perplexed as to why my photo was not returned....

Definitely real! And very cool. He has very distinctive writing. But yes, odd you didn't get the photo back.

So he wrote it on the bottom of your letter?
I've never seen a loop on the bottom of the y like that one, or just signing C and not his whole last name...but no question still authentic.

It was written on the top of my letter and returned in a Carter Center envelope with a hand-written address on the front.  I sent an 8x10 in a big envelope, which was not returned.

Since announcing his illness his office has probably been swamped with mail. Probably just an issue of the photo getting misplaced.
