PAT HINGLE  (1924-2009) appeared as Commissioner Gordon in various Batman movies.  He was a talented character actor and often starred in Broadway Plays.  He appeared in one episode of the Andy Griffith Show entitled "Wyatt Earp Rides Again."  He also replaced an ailing Milburn Stone for six episodes of Gunsmoke playing "Doctor John Chapman."  This is from a long two page:

This is Pat Hingle from the TAGS episode he was in.

I thought I'd add a few signatures to this list. All of these are currently available on my website www.themayberryemporium.net

Rockne Tarkington was born on July 15, 1931 in the USA as Rockne Booth Tarkington. He was an actor, known for Black Samson (1974), Wyatt Earp (1994) and The Ice Pirates (1984). He died on April 5, 2015 in the USA. He was the first black actor to have a starring role on TAGS. He played Flip Conroy - a professional football player.

Feel free to add any that are on your site as exemplars here.  I did not realize that he had died I must have missed that.  Thanks again.

forgot to add photos of some of these folks.

Tammy Windsor was born on March 6, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was an actress, known for The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), The Wild and the Innocent (1959) and Hawaiian Eye (1959). She died on November 28, 1963 in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA shortly after her appearance on TAGS. She played Hanna Carter in the episode "A Feud is a Feud"

Lillian Bronson was born on October 21, 1902 in Lockport, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for In the Good Old Summertime (1949), Spencer's Mountain (1963) and The Next Voice You Hear... (1950). She died on August 2, 1995 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She played "Erma Bishop" on an episode of TAGS. She was crowned "Miss Mayberry"

Lillian Bronson was a very good actress and it is interesting that she played "Grandma Spencer" in the movie Spencer's Mountain and another TAGS alumnus Ellen Corby played "Grandma Walton" in the television version (The Waltons) I have Lillian Bronson an autographed letter signed in my collection.  Thanks for adding this.

Oh, yes, I recognize her, Scott, from this photo! And I watched so many episodes of THE WALTONS so many years ago...This is a great piece!

Charles Lane was a skinny, hatchet-faced, bespectacled American character actor, ubiquitous in literally hundreds of films. With his prominent nose, his rimless eyeglasses and his permanent scowl, he typically portrayed short-tempered and often loudmouthed bureaucrats, yes-men and other minor minions, principally in lighter fare. He played the moonshiner "Mr. Frisby" on TAGS and is best known for his portrayal of "Homer Bedlow" on Petticoat Junction.
