This is a shortened version of Ali's Autograph on a fight ticket from 1977. All I can come up with is that he didn't want to ruin the face of this vintage ticket with his signature or thought he would run out of room. Either way-I like it alot. This fight- I believe he won but took alot of punches from the powerful and very dangerous Shavers. By the way this is real he signed it for me in-person. Thought I would let you guys see this shortened version.

This reminds me of one of the many times I was lucky enough to get his autograph. The time I'm thinking about was on a side street of Wilshire Blvd. on the Miracle Mile area in L.A. and he was coming from a photo shoot for an Arab ad agency. He was by himself and driving the car from the photo shoot and I approached when he was stopped at the stop sign and said "May I have your autograph?" He said "Yes" and I handed him a piece of paper and he said "Do you have a pen?" and I looked and said "No" He then rummaged through the glove compartment of the car and couldn't find a pen and then he shouted out to a guy crossing in the crosswalk "Hey, do you have a pen?" and we got one and he signed for me. I like when almost every autograph I have gotten has an interesting story with it. On one of my "Jim with Celebs" sheets is from on a flight from NY to LA and I sat across from Muhammed Ali... then a panel of the ceiling fell down and I snapped a shot of Ali looking up at the exposed cables... the fight attendant was a little concerned what I was going to do with the photo. I didn't do any thing with it but did get my picture taken with Ali and got an autograph. #6 in the montage here. I've added some other photos here on my "page" and also some video clips from a video that a production company did about my autograph collection.
If you got it in person, you should cherish it and enjoy it.

Hello Mark,
I contacted a person at Hasbro and he confirmed the date. Ali visited July 15 1997 and my profile picture with him was taken that day in the Hasbro parking lot. You guys were close on the time.
Thanks
Hello Bjarne,

Robert,
Have you checked http://www.aliautos.net/examples.html to see if they have similar exemplars to back up your ticket? That's the best source around for Muhammad Ali exemplars.
Hello Steve,
Thats a great site- thank you. I will continue my search for the shortened version like mine.
Thanks for the push
