I thought this might be cool. Tell what concerts you are going to see. Let us know if you liked or disliked the show. Maybe show a picture, autograph, guitar pick, drumstick, or a cool story .

Many I'd love to see here Paul. Be sure to see catch Blackberry Smoke if you haven't seen them. They've played at the club I work, they are awesome. I'd be interested to see Eagles of Death Metal.

How's Bob Marley's ,wailer's doing 4 different albums across 4 days , that's something.

Funny, I think the Wailers were just here a couple weeks ago.

don mcclean sold his original lyrics to American pie for over 1 $ million

I think I may have already lamented about the Florence situation here, but I will note for anyone with any familiarity with Florence and the Machine - she might end up being one of the best live shows you ever see if you do see her. I went to one of her concerts a few years back with only lukewarm familiarity of her material, and I was blown away. She had one of the wildest x-factors of any performer I've ever seen and, after only a couple albums, an amazing selection of material. I'd almost written it off as "not my thing" and sold the tickets but was convinced otherwise by my sister.

That being said, I'm still weighing whether I'm going to see her at all this year, a decision I would have considered a no brainer a fairly short time ago. I actually think I'm going to skip. After dodging Chicago last year other than Lollapalooza (which I don't count), she booked the worst possible venue she could in the area - not even in Chicago but well south. I won't even go into how approaching such a big market with such disregard makes no sense strategically. But just trying to get tickets to this thing was a nightmare. A half dozen credit card presales, and I was left looking at garbage seats for $100. Ick. Sadly, I guess this typically is what happens when someone starts to get big.  Disappointing to say the least.

I'm not familiar with her, but after your recommendation I will see them when they come here Rich.

She really is one of those performers who kind of goes beyond musical tastes too. I recall a very diverse crowd of all ages there. I guess if you're great, you're great.

Live Nation/Ticketmaster are absolutely killing me. I saw fees of around 65% of face value being added on to tickets. It was bad 20 years ago. Now it's unreal.

Interesting note in the autograph realm - she has become a notoriously tough signer based on what I've seen. You see almost nothing new pop up on the autograph market (the promo CD signing in Australia being the exception), and what you do see surface from time to time is not discernible as her signature.

I will go and see the opening night of iron maiden the book of souls tour in ft lauderdale on February 24. It will be the first time in 5 years and the first show after Bruce Dickinson's cancer treatment.

I can't wait to hear scream for me ft lauderdale!
Well when it comes to this thread that is the cream of the crop Bjarne. The ultimate upcoming concert, you have just trumped us all my friend. I've looked at the few U.S. dates and will try everything in my power to go to one.
I will be seeing Ginger Baker in May in Cleveland and Ringo Starr in June (4th time) in Salamanca NY.

Two of the greatest drummers from Cream and The Beatles! Ringo always puts on a great show, and I hope to meet Ginger.
RingO!

well ringo won't be playing his 1963 drum kit  as he sold it recently for $2 miliion .
