Thank you Richard
I'm the seller who sold this to Nick and it was part of a collection I bought from a guy who collected in the 70's and 80's in the LA area (Mike "Dookie" Runnels was his name). He and his family chased autographs for years out there and this is the first item from the entire collection that has been questioned. I sold it to Nick last year and vetted it the best I could before selling it. I disagree with some of you in that it does match up very favorably with some exemplars of that era, one in particular was a signed legal document that matched up perfectly. It is not a reprint but that being said Nick, if Epperson doesn't pass it I'm ok working out a solution on it. I'm hoping locate some exemplars to support my case but since I didn't see it signed, I'll do what it takes to make you happy.

You know, Mike, Runnels could have traded for the Clapton.
very true, which is why I'm open for discussion. I vetted it as best I could at the time. I've attached an early exemplar from what i think is the same time frame. I'll see what else I can find.
Mike, if that Clapton's the first one questioned from the entire collection, you can't complain!
yes, it was an amazing collection. Mike passed away about 15 years ago unfortunately. He was a legend!
Honestly this one is worse than the first one
Thank You Mike , sincerely for your kind words and comment
Eric - can you give me the Ebay link for the listing of this scan?
Hi Mike,
I don't have the listing saved, but a search for "Vintage Clapton RP" should bring you to it fast enough.
Eric
