Abbott and Costello WHO'S ON FIRST? signed 78 rpm records

I was wondering if folks might know (or have a thought) about these vintage shellac records that commemorated the induction of Abbott and Costello's WHO'S ON FIRST? routine into Cooperstown in 1956.

There have been at least about 8 or 9 of these that seem to have surfaced over the years at various auction venues (Robert Edwards, Heritage, RR, Showpieces Sports, eBay, etc.). Each of them are signed in black ballpoint with names only and it looks like most every one has been authenticated by JSA at different times over the last decade.

I'm thinking they are real, with quick signatures, but find it interesting that nearly all seem to have gone through the same authentication at JSA (perhaps the same source?).

It's early for me but I could swear I've seen this before in here.

It was your thread Etienne! :) Last year.

Pardon, but I don't believe I've asked about Bud and Lou signing on these WHO'S ON FIRST? records.  If I did, it has slipped my mind and I'd certainly appreciate you linking here to the discussion.  Thanks.

I did find the discussion so thanks for jogging my memory.

...we had a couple of responses last year:

What I notice is that the exemplars I had posted last year look really odd with Bud Abbott's signature.  The ones I've recently found (in the OP on this new thread) look more typical of Bud's signature.

I'm thinking the ones from last years thread were Lou signing for him and today's posted exemplars are signed by both of them.

Maybe some more of our classic Hollywood folks would care to weigh in now?

You beat me too it. I hope you find what you are looking for.

These were signed much later than my set. Sorry I can't help.

I think the ones from last year's thread can be eliminated as being from both of them with Lou  signing for Bud.

It's still find it interesting that most of these went exclusively through JSA for authentication.
