Hi, looks real and if it is then it is very very rare because Alan did not signed Harry Potter stuff so much offten and not at all after 4 parts HP.

Thank you!

Can you provide the full signed photo? I am not convinced this is authentic but would like to get a better look.

thanks for the reply, I will upload the complete photo20220306_165543.jpg

I appreciate you furnishing the full signed photo. IMO, I have doubts on this one. At first glance it appears ok but, with further study, I see some atypical characteristics that render me skeptical.

thank you very much, could you tell me what are the wrong things so I can be more careful in looking for the authentic ones?

Alan Rickman signed Harry Potter photos are extremely scarce and valuable. So any you see extra care must be taken. I just checked eBay and did not see one signed HP Rickman photo that was authentic.

Alan was a generous signer except on HP items. I suggest you look at his signature on other signed photos and get a feel for his usual signature patterns such as angle, how he underlined his signatures, if he usually left spaces between certain letters in his name, etc.

And finally you might want to ask here before you buy. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I agree with Joe, whilst on first glance it looks okay when looking closer there are stop-starts and no natural flow.

I would say it is real because I see some typical things (R and K) which Alan did but when there are some question about it - I would stay away for sure.

View the enlargement and tilt your screen - that paint pen looks like a 17th century oil painting. Even if genuine I'd stay wel away - the signature looks as if it might fall off at any minute.

This might well be achieved with alternating hot and cold in quick succession.
