I found this of Alan Rickman - real or not real? The price seems right, but I am still not sure. It's never been easy to find a PSA authenticated signature of his. Now even moreso than ever.

Hello,

It appears done to the scan by someone or perhaps some device(?) - it is obviously sharpened around the signature but also some of the white at lower right. You can clearly see where the selection ends.

Eric

Next time I have the opportunity, I am definitely going to take a look at this on a computer. Thanks :)

I will leave the photoshop talk to those that can speak intelligently about it. The signature seems ok. As long as it hasn't been placed on the image with photoshop etc.

Hi All,

Just to clarify, I did not mean anything re authenticity, placement or intent or whatever - I am simply showing what one can see, even without enhancement. Whatever else it might or might not mean is not on my radar. Noticing this sort of thing comes from identifying washed and rewritten "Titanic" postcards, alteration in photography, auction photographs (surprise) and the like.

Best wishes,

                 Eric

And I absolutely appreciate this insight, Eric. Thank you!

Not sure if the attached photo comes in any clearer. This is still so pixelated, but it shows more of the clarity of the original photo, minus the odd sharpness of my previous upload. If my phone ruins it yet again, I give up.
