Ryan, notice how Ebay seller and scammer Rickevery13 posts small and un-cropped photographs of his forgeries.

The only people who buy his forgeries are wannabe autograph collectors.  The buyers are the ones who keep this scammer is business on Ebay.

Yup, this forgery ring is doing anything they can to keep selling these forgeries. Before I exposed them, they were making THOUSANDS of dollars A DAY for the past few years. This has dwindled greatly because of our efforts. It would take hardly any effort from eBay to get these thieves Paypal IDS/names/addresses and turn them into the appropriate people to stop this permanently.

Also amazing that eBay hasn't pulled some of these items, they enjoy the moron buyers money just as much as these forgers do.

I sold about 500 bucks in base balls and bought more then 2000 worth. Wish I knew where these thousands were.

Hello there im rickevery 13. I have been selling on ebay for about a three months. Every ball I have sold on eBay I purchased on e bay. Therefore every ball I sold was backed by eBay as authentic. I never had any complaints about the autographs. Being new I did not use great pictures not great with computers. I now use Better pictures. The person who runs this site has no proof of fraud and they were reported to ebay by me. You sir should be ashamed of your self. Please look up Defamation of character because I will be coming after you in court for it. I buy and sell as a hobby, I BUY MORE THEN I SELL I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING SINCE I WAS A CHILD. I HAVE EMAILED YOU PLEASE HAVE THE FORTITUDE TO RESPOND.

As a seller you are responsible for making sure that your items are genuine!

Hiding behind ebay saying "Therefore every ball I sold was backed by eBay as authentic" are just plain stupid. Ebay is or have never been a "authentication-service", it´s just a marketplace. So just because you bought these items there, doesn´t make them authentic. It´s sadly a well known fact that ebay allows lots of fakes being sold every day.

And your next "proof" that these are authentic because "I never had any complaints about the autographs", is just as much nonsense as your first one. All that proves is that there are a lot of people buying whatever crap are offered, because they know nothing at all about autographs!

And I´m pretty sure you already knew this, being a smart buisness law student...

I buy them from reputable e bay dealers all the balls come with coa, I don't buy from just anyone sir im not an an idiot

Didn´t say that you were an idiot. But hiding behind the fact that "all the balls come with coa" (which every person can make themself, so they does not prove a thing), doesn´t make you look like a genius either...

And no matter what, Ryan and Christopher Williams (to my knowledge two members who know A LOT about these signatures) still thinks you sell very bad fakes!!!

You do realize that anyone on planet earth with a printer can make a COA, correct?  The vast majority of COAs out there are worthless trash, as are the fake autographs accompanying them.  Thousands upon thousands of forgeries have come with a COA.  It doesn't magically make the item authentic.

Furthermore, the fact that top level stars are selling for dirt cheap didn't raise any warning flags to you regarding their authenticity?  You thought that a COA proves authenticity?  You thought that Ebay "backed every item as authentic"?  You thought that posting tiny photos and not referencing the authentication (i.e. who the COA was from) was legit?  You might not want to be lecturing collectors who actually know this hobby about "doing research."

Sorry if you didn't like the tone of the original posts, but you're not doing yourself any favors with the manner in which you are fighting the accusations.  Your assumption that this forum consists of amateur collectors who know little about the hobby is drastically off-target.  You might want to listen instead of being defensive.
