I haven’t seen too many John Mellencamp autograph discussions, but he’s always been one of my favorites.  I’d probably say Top 5 all-time for me in fact.  Of course, it seems like I have about 10 artists in my Top 5.  Lol.  But I can listen to Mellencamp songs over and over and over again.  So many of his I love that probably weren’t even close to Top 40 hits...though he had his share of those too.  He’s a great artist whose songs tell a story.

Count me as a Mellencamp fan. I lived about 30 miles from him in Indiana. The dude can rock! Here is my signed album.

Very nice, Joe!!  Yes, the dude can certainly R.O.C.K. in the USA!!

Wow...30 miles.  I probably would have become a stalker!   Lol.

Btw, he’s quite an artist too...as in painting.

I would be another in the Mellencamp fan base. Used to live in Indiana and had a chance to see him back in 1988 on the final concert of The Lonesome Jubilee tour. Amazing show. Lots of local tales about him as well.

Any you might want to retell?

Where did you live at in Indiana, Tacoma? I lived in Rushville for nearly 35 years.

Is it safe to say you liked the movie, Hoosiers?  Even as a Jayhawk, I know I did! :0)

You know...if Gordon Hayward’s nearly-made half court shot in the Duke-Butler NCAA title game in 2010 had gone in, it would have been a case of life imitating art.  It would have been the most unbelievable ending/backstory to a National Championship Game ever!  (Went off on a little tangent there)

Indeed, I also lived about 50 miles from Milan which was the High School the movie was based on. Gene Hackman; great actor.

Yes...Hackman is one of the best.
