Are these Beatles autographs real?

I bought a set of Beatles autographs 4 years ago from Antiquities in Las Vegas. They are authenticated by Drew Max of AAU. After a bit of research on Max, and several rejections from auction houses and prospective buyers, naturally, I'm suspicious of the authenticity of these signatures. Antiquities gave me a money-back guarantee. I'm in Las Vegas RIGHT NOW (I live in San Francisco) and I'm trying to get a refund from Antiquities. Yesterday they gave me the cold shoulder. I'm going back in today hoping to talk to the owner. What am I to do? What do you guys think of the signatures?

This is really sad and disgusting.

Drew Max has "certed" thousands upon thousands of forgeries.

History Channel and their fake reality show cost a lot of folks a ton of money. They partly at fault for building up this frauds resume without researching him other than reading his bogus self written credentials.

Sorry to hear about your circumstances. Thing can change quick-4 years ago you were flush, today no so flush.

If you are on a mission, find out who owns the business and how wealthy they are. Find out if th business has insurance policy and if so how much. Contact as many other victims as possible. And talk to a lawyer that's not also a crook!

They will never accept anything that says they are not authentic. Will claim everyone else is just an opinion but they are not a forensic trained expert. Toby Stoffa will never refund your money even though she knows they ripped you off.

Good luck with this. Hope it works out but their history seems to suggest otherwise.

Rick is right, you can go back and forth forever in that area. Kevin you live in SF, have you been to the Antiquities at Fishermans Wharf?

Barry, I have. It doesn't do any good. And they carry AAU stuff too. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of their stuff was forged.

You're right - she'll never refund my money, even with the written opinion of a reputable authenticator. I've found some more damming stories on ripoffreport.com. Therefore, I no longer intend to pursue a refund directly from them; I intend to contact a lwayer, file a police report, contact the managers of the Forum Shops, contact as many local and nationwide news outlets as will listen, and I'm also going to contact the FBI. They are knowingly selling forgeries and I don't understand how they continue to stay out of jail, let alone in business.

I know Ceasers has been contacted about this shop many times. They turn a blind eye to it like EBAY does. Still doesn't hurt to add another report to them.
