And how many of them ship all over the world free of charge all the while packaging in a quality sturdy manner? That takes a consolidated effort I'd imagine.

Think some folks just need to calm themselves and be patient ffs.

Nope, no excuse!

I think the only thing people cannot get their head around is the fact they don’t have the books yet but everyone else has shipped theirs. Why would Blackwells not even have them in stock when everyone else including small book shops have shipped theirs on the release date? Add to the fact they are owned by Waterstones so surely they are linked behind the scenes?

Maybe a flash mob did the ol' Smash n Grab at the Arnie book warehouse? You never know what silliness will pop off these days....

Just got my copy from Blackwells and certainly not packed in a quality, sturdy manner! Packaging was rubbish,a thin cardboard envelope. Not the usual book packaging you would expect. Packaging ripped and book inside damaged.

That’s bad news. Mine is going to the US. I hope it arrives in one piece.

My BAM tipped-in page:

just scored the last 2 at my local BAM.

Blackwell's just took the payment.

Same.
I’ve had excellent service from this bookshop for several purchases.

And I just received shipping notice from Blackwell

Shortly after taking the payment here too.
