Some thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Joe,

I was lucky enough to have wine and conversation with this legend, just the 2 of us in a corner, back in 1990 or 1991, at a UNICEF party - wrap for Anne Frank. That was a thrill - and her wrists were like pencils. This is not the signature I received then (it was extremely neat and ball point), but this appears OK with other exemplars I just looked at.

Eric

Thanks Eric,

I appreciate the feedback. You were quite fortunate to meet her. Far better than an autograph!

Hi Joe,

I agree there - the experience is always better. Today it is what...a selfie?

I took another look - seems quite fine.

What do you make of my Burton? On "My Page" and in a discussion in TV, Movies and whatever it is called.

Eric

oh yes for sure!!

wow; - what was she like?  she had a geat deal of dignity I always thought. I would loved to have met her or bergman whom I also follow

Lovely photo; - it is difficult to know for sure from the picture as the sig is quite small ; - it looks ok from afar but try and see if you can look better at the loop between the capital H of Hepburn and the e which is the only thing that looks as if it could be a  bit more cumbersome than usual ; - but it is also difficult to see from that distance

Thanks Eric and Michelle. Appreciate your responses.

Eric can you show us your in person Hepburn autos if you got any?

Thx brother

Hi John,

Sadly, I sold mine from that party. It was on a large, cumbersome poster for that production of Anne Frank by the New World Symphony Orchestra. I just remember it was was very neat ordered and in ballpoint with big "A" and loops. I traded it for a Richard Burton signed Equus playbill and something else I can't remember what. Joe W. and I talked about this signature last night and without better scans we could be be quite certain.

Eric

Thanks to the assistance of Eric, we determined this was a "close" example of her signature but, for me anyway, close doesn't result in a purchase. It was fun to investigate and most would probably accept it as the real deal. And....just maybe!

It's determined that it's a forgery ?
