Please help me! :(
Does this Audrey Hepburn autograph look genuine? It was "quickly signed by her in 1963 at Madrid's airport".
Thank you SO MUCH for your help!

I've seen this one before. Quite possibly a rushed in person example but I don't like it.

Hi Joe!
You have seen it, I have uploaded it many times before beacause nobody replied hahaha
Why don't you like it??
Thanks!

I try to think of someone wanting to get an Audrey Hepburn autograph. Would this be the photo they would want signed? Only possibly the man in the photo. It looks very sloppy. If Audrey signed this she was in a hurry.

I think this must be real. What forger in their right mind would use this photo and this placement to make a quick buck?

I don't think Joe was doubting the authenticity so much as the desirability of the piece.

The man she has signed over was her hubby I believe.

The photograph is a photo of Audrey and Mel in Spain, taken the day before it was supposedly signed. It has stamps and dates in the back proving it was printed in a news agency the day before. The seller told me that it was signed to a reporter (who I guess took the photo from the agency) at the airport the day after by Audrey. So that could explain why the photograph's quality isn't great :|

I got her IP and this could well be genuine if not ideal or desirable compared to others. Mine was under relaxed conditions.

Oh my God that's great news!!!! Thanks!
Lucy you!! How was she like in person?? :)

Hello,

This was in about 1991 in NYC - a wrap party for the Diary of Anne Frank New World Symphony Orchestra UNICEf show. She was being bombarded by autograph seekers with Anne Frank Posters at a small table, so I went and got a glass of red and a glass of white wine and a chair and stopped that and sat down. She was very kind and very small - and had wrists like pencils. After a while she went and danced like mad with the kids from the orchestra who were almost all under 25 or so.

What a lovely story, thank you for sharing it! :)
You are so lucky to have met her! Do you have a photo of the autograph she signed for you??

Hello,

No, sorry, I do not. It was her usual neat signature from the early 90's. Joe is right - your example is "ruched" as this will affect desirability/value - but I think it likely genuine.

Yeah, I was told she signed it really quick.
But as long as it's genuine, it's good for me!
The price is A LOT cheaper than most Audrey Hepburn autographs, so I can afford it! :)
I finally bought it! For a quite a low price.
How does it look??
Check it out!:
