Hi

i have a lot of autographs to go through to value. We are talking in like up to 60. What can I do to get them valued ? Would anyone be willing to help out if I gave a list ? Please PM me and I will send it over. Just want a rough idea.

Thanks

Robin

A list won't do. Pricing involves quality - the photo, the type (copy or original), size, pose/scene, placement of graph, contrast of same, quality of graph etc. You need to show images IMO.

Happy to show images if anyone is willing to help but if I need to pay for valuation so be it.

Do you have notes on what you paid and when? Any certified?

I have receipts for the vast majority with this information.

That is a start.

Thank you for your help with this. What would happen out of interest if you didn’t have receipts?

Happy to try and help.

That might mean you were gifted the graphs and then you'd really need help. These are graphs you purchased so you should have some idea of the value, no? I assume you researched these well before purchase.

Let me say and don’t hold it against me that at one time I wasn’t a wise collector as I was very naive but I hope since then I’ve become better and always try to keep receipts as and whenever possible. I do know some in my collection aren’t legitimate so that is a different story but I’ve been collecting for years. Sone I won’t be able to resolve but it’s a lesson learnt. Now I tend to only go by a select few companies to buy my things as I trust these companies.

So they need to be weeded through and then valued? If so they really need to be authenticated first.

The best way to get a fair market value is to search recent completed sales and auctions for comparable items. Don't expect to get the same pricing as high profile auction houses with curated customers.

+1

Thank you I’ll look into that.
