Decided to take a quick look at Music Today as far as things I've ordered from them in the past. Other than this, there was Kelsea Ballerini (which seem to have been all authentically signed so far), Camilla Cabello (some early concerns over the CDs, but generally seemed fine so far - minus the delays on the vinyl, limited ed CDs), and Yungblud (seemed to be authentically signed). I think it comes more down to the artists & management, though Music Today should definitely take a better position than denial when situations like this one come to light,

For me, Demi is the only other autopen I can think of, though I've gotten highly questionable or outright fake items from Lana, Adam Lambert, and Twenty One Pilots (a rare Newbury miss). In the whole scope of things, I'd say that the authenticity rate of these preorders still generally lies somewhere north of 90%. Of course, the bigger the name, the higher the risk factor. Even an artist with the best of intentions can be undermined by a bad team (or bad egg on the team) or an indifferent label.

I just had an interesting conversation with Vivian at Music Today, she's answered the last two times I've called the 877-687-4277 number. She was extremely nice and very helpful emailing my return label and canceling my Camila Cabello orders. She said that Music Today have been assured by Ozzy's management that they are in fact authentic autographs (of course they are not). She also said that Music Today is waiting for confirmation from Ozzy Osbourne himself in the form of a certificate of authenticity. I'm gonna keep in touch with her via email over the next few weeks to see if they actually receive that certificate. Pretty interesting.

Since most these musicians do these autograph sales to boost physical music copy sales and raise their numbers on the charts.. I wonder if they are counted towards their album sales if they are returned, I guess nobody could keep track of that so they must still count.

I bet the record companies do this to get chart numbers up knowing many will be returned but it doesn't matter since theyd still be counted as album sales... Plus the profit off the not returned ones probably overrides any loss from returned ones.

I did the same thing. I wouldn't buy cds at all if it wasnt for signed copies. I dont even have a CD player so it definitely boosts album sales. Sucks they pull this kind of stuff.

I don't have an Ozzy autograph and really wanted to add one to my collection, but can't pay what they normally sell for to get one. So I probably won't ever get one. I thought I got lucky on this but now it's just a big hassle and more money wasted.

you best bet it to try and find a signed book.  He did a book tour and there should be plenty out there.

I was advised by PayPal to file a fraud complaint this way. If enough people do it, they’ll investigate the Osbournes and MusicToday through an FBI investigation.

I received my lovely autopens today. I sent this pic to Music Today also, because why not? At least i'll always have my Ozzy statue.

Very nice statue, Travis.

Yeah I didnt understand why they made a limit of 4 but only had 3 diff autopens. They should have limited it to 3 and sent 3 diff ones if they wanted to be somewhat slick about it. Not that it still wouldnt have been outed on social media. But they dont seem to bright.

It doesn't make sense to me either Ken. On a related subject Ken, i've seen how you've been trying to politely educate people on Twitter. I really can appreciate how you've been doing your best to spread the word on social media. I stay so busy working these days i rarely get a chance to get online and post on here as much as i used to. These artist sadly are starting to actively take the fun out of collecting.
