That is a wild price. And there's still a huge buyers premium to be figured in there. As michelle said, there's still a day to go as well.

I had a Bogart/Bacall album page that I bought several years ago for $950.  I'm not sure Olivia being on it jumps the value much.

Here's a couple of Bogart/Bacall exemplars from what would have been around the same period.

How do you think the RR one ending tomorrow compares?

prefer yours no question.  I would prefer mine if I could find the ones I own.  I still  cant believe so many people are fighting to own this, something very straange in the state of Denmark I think.  I also dont like the placement

Those are nice Eddy. That RR Bogart struck me as odd immediately but that was not what I was really getting at. The "ph" connection and "rt" seemed very strange.

What do you guys think of the claim that that is fountain pen?  1953 fountain pen, at that?

the closer one looks, the more  worried one becomes.  I do approve of the menu though  ,

I actually did not look.

There could be a discrepancy between the age of the ink and the age of the sizing. Hard to say from here. I don't like that Bogart.

the sigs dont flow either imo

One could say they flow together too much...

There's definitely something(s) "off" here, IMHO.

Looks like an expensive issue.

Only if you bid ;)

Indeed.  The closer you look, the more issues you find.
