Oh my. Wasn't Manny's where Gilmour bought the Black Strat in 1969/70?.

Yes it was.

I was lucky enough to see him play that guitar. Time...

I read that Paul Simon bought his first guitar there when he was 12.

The dedication looks like different ink straight away.

These "signatures" were printed on a large number of photographs...stamped.

Thanks, Jim. The signatures on the photo appear slightly altered. For example, compare the “P”s from Paul’s signatures. Also, the signature on the photo is missing the underline.

How has Roger approved these even on a quick opinion? Yikes.

It looks like someone wrote over the stamped sigs to make them stronger. But where's the underline under McCartney? The dedication is not by a Beatle.

Agreed. The missing underline is odd. That said, take a close look at the top portions of the “P”s. They appear to me to be shaped slightly differently.

Yes, the OP  has an odd angularity and is not as smooth. The vertical is all messed up. Also, the second "C" seems to have grown a hook, and the "e" is now filled in. Lots to look at.

It almost looks like indentations were traced over.
