Authentic, in my opinion.

Style is authentic but it looks like a copy to me.

Comes from a major auction house.  Why do you think it's a copy?

Because that is how it looks. The style is correct but wasn't sure if it's signed or a copy.

To be more specific -- what are the signs to look for when you only have an online scan of the autograph to determine it may be a copy?

there is no way to be 100% certain from a scan.  the reason I brought it up is because it is almost black and white, and just looks like it could be a copy. if a major auction house has inspected it, they would certainly be able to tell if it were a copy.

Bruce,

Terrier is right to be concerned about that. You should always be concerned about copies, which is why it's so important to buy from reputable sellers with a history of taking returns in such instances. The image is a medium resolution JPEG, so it's degraded when you look at it full size, but I think it isn't a copy. Among other things, the ageing of the paper looks natural.

nice set, late 1964.
