its not the quantity of COA's, it is who provides them. If you can get Tracks or Frank Caiazzo to cert these, that is all you need.
Nice item but for that price I would definitely want an LOA from either Tracks or Frank Caiazzo as Terrier suggested. It looks good but for future liquidity if you ever want/need to sell it, I would get it authenticated by one of them.
I probably would not grade the autographs as McCartney and Lennon appear weaker than Harrison and Starr and PSA/DNA will assign an overall grade to the piece although they will grade each autograph on its own. They would likely grade them overall an 8.
PSA/DNA is a decent option for the Beatles but not considered as strong by most collectors as Tracks or Caiazzo.
Although Heritage is certainly a well respected auction house, I'm not sure who their Beatles expert is so I would probably at least get a PSA/DNA LOA for a piece of this value. It likely has already been checked out by them as usually they provide a PSA/DNA pre-certified designation for autographed items although I noticed on this lot it only stated the Heritage LOA was included as you stated.
I was told by someone at the Beverly Hills location that the Entertainment and Music department does not use PSA.
Very nice piece, Paul. Congrats!
No, they didn't give a reason.
You can definitely get a COA from TRACKS. There is also PERRY COX, who is just as good as Caizzo, and is very approachable.
