Just won this piece on heritage auctions today.it is in mint condition and I believe the sigs are good enough to be graded.maybe mint 9 .it only comes with a heritage auction coa.im thinking of getting tracks to provide another coa.this is definitly the nicest set I own at this point.it cost me an arm and a leg.the more coas I can obtain the better.thats my thinking anyway.Any thoughts or advise would definitly appreciated.

its not the quantity of COA's, it is who provides them. If you can get Tracks or Frank Caiazzo to cert these, that is all you need.

Nice item but for that price I would definitely want an LOA from either Tracks or Frank Caiazzo as Terrier suggested. It looks good but for future liquidity if you ever want/need to sell it, I would get it authenticated by one of them.

I agree.frank at this moment is next to impossible.im going to call tracks in the morning to see what they can do.i wonder if they would accept a picture of it ,or maybe they would see it came from a reputable auction house and provide me a coa without having to send the program over to the uk.( which I would never do).psa is in town soon .i might as well get a letter from them also.should I bother to try to get it graded maybe mint 9?

I probably would not grade the autographs as McCartney and Lennon appear weaker than Harrison and Starr and PSA/DNA will assign an overall grade to the piece although they will grade each autograph on its own. They would likely grade them overall an 8.

PSA/DNA is a decent option for the Beatles but not considered as strong by most collectors as Tracks or Caiazzo.

Although Heritage is certainly a well respected auction house, I'm not sure who their Beatles expert is so I would probably at least get a PSA/DNA LOA for a piece of this value. It likely has already been checked out by them as usually they provide a PSA/DNA pre-certified designation for autographed items although I noticed on this lot it only stated the Heritage LOA was included as you stated.

I also agree .the macca and lennon don't look as strong as the Harrison and Starr.im definitly going to get a psa for it and try for a grade.i think tracks coa is not going to be to difficult.Caiazzo is impossible for now.going to call heritage tomorrow to see if it is pre authenticated by any one else other than themselves.i hope so.

I was told by someone at the Beverly Hills location that the Entertainment and Music department does not use PSA.

Very nice piece, Paul. Congrats!

Thanks For your approval.i wish Frank was still authenticating for the general public.
That's true. Did they say why they didn't? Their sports department uses PSA/DNA.

No, they didn't give a reason.

I'm gonna call them tomorrow.to set up payment and also ask about loas.ill let you guys know .thanks.

You can definitely get a COA from TRACKS. There is also PERRY COX, who is just as good as Caizzo, and is very approachable.

I have a couple of maccas with Percy's coas .how would I be able to get a hold of him?
