Hello folks

I would be grateful to know what you think of the Beatles signed programme plus a signed copy of Grapefruit by John & Yoko. Many thanks

I wasn't totally sure myself on both.

The info on the programme is; Autographed tour programme from chris montez tommy roe tour signed on 17th march 1963 at the peterborough embassy theatre

mind you if he pays with paypal or ccard Senior Beatlebum is covered as long as he finds someone prepared to authenticate it.  On the other hand if it was such a bargain, and it does appear a good price for it, even with the ink skipping why has noone purchased it by now?

The John and Yoko sold for £1200 plus 28% fees, a beautiful piece, I was outbid.

which auction house ?

Reeman Dansie Auction House in England.

I also think 4500 bp is a good deal.here is the example that I own,and I paid a lot more than that.

i would also pass on it though,it is just to much pen skipping for me.

Paul,

That’s a great item. Congrats.

I also agree that this is a very good price.

The program was sold on ebay and is now relisted:

Good try.

If you look carefully to the way the auction went (anonymous bidder list) and if you look closely at the signed program you will easily realize that the autograph style surely looks good but the autographs were copied, pasted or whatever on the page. Over the last years a lot of vintage programs with these kind of autographs were offered on ebay - most likely from the same guy with different usernames and only a hand full of feedbacks....

Don`t let fool you - BEWARE!!

Expert, here's a version of that questionable program we can zoom in closely on:

Portions of it look slowly drawn and misshapen.

It looks like the autographs are etched into the surface and then penned.

At least....
