I've had this Bela Lugosi SP that I'm now focusing on more seriously. I see things l like. Some I'm not sure of ( esp. the "B" looking somewhat atypical...although it's connection to an authentic style "e" following it looks right).
That "a" in Bela looks right. I've also seen him make the break in his surname ("Lug osi"). This came out of a batch of authentic signed photos from this same collector "Mush" from the mid-1930's.
Any help would be appreciated!

No from me. That would be by far the most legible "in remembrance" I've seen from him. It lacks the double backs on the "e"'s and "a"s. The last "e" is so wrong. Why?
He actually made his accent mark above his "e" rather than his "a"...and it's present in the OP photograph.
Of course, yes, I see it - I ammended my post. So then it is earlier - the inscription now becomes very odd - it is way to neat and legible for the underside of 1945 and formed incorrectly as well.
What I'm thinking is that perhaps someone else may have written the dedication and then he simply signed beneath it. The signature and the dedication are not size congruent. That might help explain any anomalies in the dedication.
Appears same hand to me.
Odd then that he would make his "e's" different on the dedication than the "e" on his signature.
Exactly. He often looks to have trouble with that inscription as if he gets a bit lost. This is so smooth and incorrectly formed.
The "To Mush" dedication rings a bell but I don't recall why. I'm thinking another SP signed by someone else made out to the same name which might have been a collector back then. David Lewis might well know. I'd send a scan to Dr. B as he knows Lugosi very very well and had owned mine at onepoint after hanging in a restaurant for decades.
