What is the item that is signed?
I am not strong on Dylan signatures so my opinion may not be worth a hill of beans. I will say this. Bob Dylan is hard to authenticate. I am unsure of his signature style in 1960. Did he also supposedly draw the guitar under his signature? Are there any other famous people signatures on this item? I think it would be helpful to know what the item is and any provenance.
Just judging from what I see (and again I am not strong on Dylan) I would lean toward not authentic.
Is this for sale?
I don't think that was signed by Dylan. There could be styles I'm unaware of but this would greatly surprise me if it were real.
There are other signatures on the pic from Theodore Bikel and Jean Ritchie, both Folk singers in the early Sixties. Which makes it more likley, that this Dylan sig, although not typical, is the real thing. Could come from a Newport festival... I also have seen a sig, where Dylan added a drawing from a guitar.
Can you post some examples of what you have?
I could be wrong but the OP picture looks to have been signed by a lefty. There aren't many videos of BD signing but the one from pawn stars where chumlee tracks Dylan down.....in that video he signs with his right hand. I am pretty sure the one in the OP was signed by a south paw judging by slant and formation
as of now its not for sale
its a almost fully signed 1964 new port festival program
from the original guy who got it that nite.
Please let me know, if it should become available, thanks.
