*UPDATE - Let this be a warning to ALL publishers and celebrities in the future. We are sick and tired of these autopen releases. Our community has had enough and absolutely will not stand for this practice to continue any longer!!!
I want to point out that Coles Books needs to be commended. They made sure to look out for their customers and refused to ship these out if they came from the same S&S stock, which they did. It was also an easy process to cancel orders beforehand if you wished. Coles. on behalf of everyone, I want to thank you for having integrity and watching out for all of us.
I can NOT say the same about Premiere Collectibles. They refused to honor cancelation requests until it was known these books were in fact autopenned. They advertise themselves claiming they are collectors themselves. This is not true. They are a retailer first and only care about your money. There have been other autopen incidents where they absolutely refused to accept blame, stating items were real when they were clearly deemed autopen by the community. Be careful with future purchases with Premiere Collectibles.

I am creating this thread as a comprehensive all in 1 link for returns, refunds, chargebacks and claims made regarding the "signed" edition of Bob Dylan - The Philosophy Of Modern Song. Please use this link to email Simon & Schuster, Coles, and Premiere Collectables as 100% proof these were signed using an autopen machine.
I would like to say right off the bat, Coles Books in the UK is handling this professionally and seem to care deeply about their customer base. They have stated that, once they are in hand, If they find evidence of them being autopenned, they will cancel all orders.. Kudos to Coles.. I wish all retailers would follow their lead. If you wish to cancel your order with them immediately instead of waiting, It seems to be an easy process.

So far, there have been a total of 17 confirmed different templates for the autopen machine used for Bob Dylans signature. I am in the process of creating video comparisons for all 17 sets. Please post full page photos of your item as they are delivered to aid in this process
Here are all 17 templates used by Bob Dylan - I am still looking for full page photos for numbers 8,13 and 15 thru 17 but its still best to post whatever you receive
Be aware when checking against your own copy, it has come to light that they are possibly using 1st and last names interchangeably. Bob in #2 matches perfectly with Bob in #13 while Dylan in both are different

Dolly Parton is also guilty of using multiple autopens in the same fashion with multiple templates over the years but with a slight twist where they manipulate the page as the autopen machine writes her signature. If we are looking to stop all future attempts at autopen usage, she needs to be held accountable just as much as Bob Dylan and S&S. Link to threads below

Hi, I would like to make the BBC aware of Bob Dylans new book just released last week - The Philosophy of Modern Song being distributed and sold from / through book publisher Simon and Schuster which were / are advertised as personally hand signed by Bob Dylan and are in fact not hand signed at all but are autopenned by no less than 14 autopen templates! .
They have been on sale Initially through Indigo in Canada a few weeks ago - but one copy was leaked online and found to be autopenned - which is a mechanical device used to copy autographs. Indigo found out and cancelled all orders.
Last Saturday 12th November Coles Book stores in the UK offered 99 copies for sale and then 900 copies were offered for sale Direct from Simon and Schusters USA website and Premiere Collectibles also in the USA - some from Simon and Schuster and Premiere started to be delivered in the USA on friday 18th and saturday the 19th November and it is obvious they are fake and autopenned - and definitely NOT hand signed by Bob Dylan at All.I have attached the definitive proof which Jason H has spent many hours compiling on the autograph Live Forum below of which I am a member of and the link where they are still being sold fraudulently in the USA for $600.00 each !
All books were advertised as being personally hand signed by Bob Dylan with Simon and Schusters CEO's even hand signing a letter of authenticity with each book guaranteeing they are hand signed - the letters are Signed by both Suzanne Baboeau for UK orders and Jonathan Karp in the USA for their orders.
Coles are purely a book store in the UK and are totally innocent in all of this and whether Simon & Schuster are sending them autopenned books remains to be seen but Coles are well aware of this fraud unfolding and if Coles delivery of books are autopenned they have assured everybody that their order will be cancelled and refunded.
The alarming thing to all of this is that these books are still being offered for sale On Simon & Schusters webstore in the USA (Link attached below) - even though they are fully aware of what is happening and has been proven they are autopenned.
After many customers complaints Simon and Schuster and their service representatives are even now still replying to them on the phone, e mail and social media stating they are personally hand signed by Bob Dylan!
This fraud story is currently taking off on Twitter, Facebook and members of the public should be made aware of this and they need to know what is happening here as this is Fraud for many hundreds of thousands, if not millions of pounds, just on this one book, the sad thing is this happens on a regular basis, with books, records, posters among other items!
This autopen fraud is ever increasing and needs to be stamped out once and for all.Kind regards Nick

Thank you so much Nick, as well as everyone else who is contributing. You are all doing a great job making sure the word gets around. I woke up briefly to see whats going on here and I'm impressed. Headed back to sleep for a bit now but wanted to put this out here... if anyone has ideas or links that should be added to the original post could you post your ideas here or send me a DM.. I want to clean it up a bit more and make sure this information can be used as a resource years from now. I would love to add more media links and emails to make it as easy as possible for people to click and send a quick message. I have all day tomorrow to continue to work on this but hoping to have the original post finalized before Monday (aside from adding more templates and videos as items come in) all ideas are very appreciated. Its a great feeling to be part of this team we have going, fighting hard to make sure justice prevails.. lets keep spreading the word.. I'll leave you all with this quote

Nice. I was taking a break from the forum/autographs for a couple weeks because I was getting a bit burnt out, but this really p***** me off so I'm gonna try to do anything I can to screw these guys. I contacted a consumer fraud reporter in NY since that's where S&S is located. I'm going to try to find more to contact, I also contacted TMZ, it would be nice if they picked it up since they're a major website and on TV. But any consumer protection reporters picking it up would be great. $600,000 ain't exactly chump change, that's a pretty big fraud. Not sure how these places can get away with that. If I sold $600,000 in counterfeit autographs and got caught blatantly doing it, I'd be locked in prison. But these multi million/billion dollar businesses it's just another day at work. No consequences. Too bad there's no lawyers on here... I wonder if you can file a case in small claims above the amount of the book? That's fairly cheap and easy to do and no lawyer needed. Trying to think of any way else to screw S&S they burned my ass with this one, and it's time to do some burning back... but for now I'm filing a chargeback for sure and filing a BBB case just to give them some paperwork to deal with if nothing else.

Just unboxed my dads copy. It was delivered to Walgreens yesterday, so I have tracking to verify that it wasn’t unboxed until after this thread was made. It matches #9 exactly.
