Or just post a picture of one or 2 as an example.

If it's found to be autopen and we refuse to sign for it at delivery, will S&S be forced to refund the order since it won't be marked delivered?

We brought this up earlier.. ive researched a bit more and found that in theory, it should work but you would be taking a risk with an expensive item. There is no guarantee that it will be tracked on the way back or marked that they received it.. it would be another gamble. Its best to contact S&S and have them aware it is being returned with proper tracking for your benefit

But then it's never marked as delivered, absolving you of liability though right?  Even if it never makes it back to S&S?

I'm now researching specifically for people who used PayPal and you seem to be correct in this case. If delivery is refused, PayPal will side with the buyer and issue a refund. Im still looking for the most current information to be sure. It seems logical though. I do not want to give any info unless I'm 100% sure. It may be wise to call PayPal and ask them direct

Another issue, I have seen our mailman scan items as delivered before he gets out of his truck. In some cases, it may be tricky just catching the mailman in time unless signature is required for these

I believe signatures are required for these

After looking through PayPals buyer protection policy, in this case, there are 2 ways to receive a refund.. item not received, delivery refusal seems to be acceptable but we should triple check with PayPal on that..

The other way is item not as described. The issue with this is, PayPal may at their discretion find that the seller did in fact list this product accurately. We need absolute proof for PayPal to know if these arrive as autopen signatures. This could potentially be problematic. I have been going back and forth on this for a while but it does seem that refusal may be the way to go specifically if you paid using PayPal. Id love to get more opinions on this still.

I'm coming around to thinking that simply not signing the FedEx required direct signature is the safest way to return the books and then request a refund, if they do end up being bogus. They usually make two attempts, then return the items to sender, at least in my experience. Of course, then they have your money and you have no book, which is a poor position to be in. Sounds like Matt M will be the first to get one. Mine has arrived in my area, but FedEx usually doesn't get here until the early evening. If Matt's is good, we will all have cause to celebrate the deal of the year, but I must confess, it's seeming less and less likely, Godspeed Matt!

Lol thanks Tom, same to you!

So I’ve been anxiously watching the tracking this morning. Package made it to Nashville last night which is typically a sure thing for delivery next day. However, it hasn’t been loaded for delivery yet so starting to get concerned. FedEx is saying is still on track for today.

Has yours been loaded / out for delivery Tom?

As of 7:30 this morning, it is in the local sort facility, but not listed as "out for delivery" yet. Still listed as to be delivered today by 8:00 PM.

Same here actually. I think this may be on a different route/schedule, being two-day shipping. From what I remember, the last one I had like this went out later in AM than normal and was not my usual guy in truck- it was a van if I recall correctly. So if that’s the case, I have no idea what time it’s coming (by 8pm per tracking).

Bear in mind that if they are Fake - What depths would S&S stoop to? Having stooped so low already !  - Maybe they will use multiple Autopen Machines.... perhaps wait until several are published online - unless of course they are identical to the solitary autopenned Indigo copy ..... - Of course they could still be Legit...
