Hello everyone.  I recently started buying autographs from eBay. I sadly have a trigger finger and bought a lot of items, most of which had CoAs but I've been reading about companies now and have suddenly become paranoid about some things that I have bought or have current bids on.

I am kicking myself for not checking out this site first. I was hoping to get your opinion on some things.

I honestly thought all of this stuff was legit and seemed to come from reputable sellers and had legitimate CoAs but I'm questioning it all now reading a lot of the things on this website and an experience I had recently. I bought a Derek Jeter Ball, Mariano Rivera ball and Tom Brady football. The two baseballs did not have CoAs so I got them authenticated by JSA. The Brady football came with a CoA from Mayhem Sports in Michigan and looked a little bogus so I submitted that and it failed. Thankfully the seller is refunding me everything including the JSA fee but now I am second guessing my other items.

I thought Gridiron Authentics was a safe bet but I've been reading that they are selling CoAs with photos of players signing the item but the item itself is different or duped. I've also read that Global Authentics has gone down hill. I've read that Left Field Sports Memorabilia from LA is all fake and I know nothing about CAAI.

I would like to get this stuff looked at by JSA but I'm worried that if they do not pass, I'll be unable to return these items and would have lost the money from the JSA fee.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I'm 99% sure that Rice is authentic. I know he signed TONS of those huge copies at private signings.

Do you think I should spend the money to get this certified by JSA or PSA/DNA? I don't want to spend the money if its going to fail.

Post some pictures. I'd like to see your Warner for sure.

Here it is

Look at how horribly placed those goofs at GA put that discount sticker on there. I'd never use an authenticator who trashed my item like that.

Probably authentic though but not a premium example.

The ACTUAL sticker is the one on the bottom left. The bottom Right is a zoomed in picture of the sticker on the bottom left, it is not actually on the photo itself. I cropped the picture together so I wouldn't have to upload two pictures.

I'm looking at the bottom left. Looks like it is placed at an angle and not close to straight at all. Bad enough they stickering it. Try and do an even job of it.
As as been discussed in previous Global threads, everything they have been selling for the past several years is fake. They show you a legitimate item in the listing and send you something completely different. I have spoken with the eBay Fraud department a few times and their latest reply to me was "look how much positive feedback they have". They really don't care as long as they take in the fees. It is up to people like us to help educate others when dealing with these crooks.
