A collector friend asked my opinion on these two.  The signatures on each are odd looking to my eye.  Very odd, in the case of the Gleason most especially.  The fact that no one else signed alleged multi-party docs. is odd as well.

I have never seen a Gleason with the dot over the" i" to the left of the "k "(unarticulated here). He unusually did not dot the "i" in the first place. There are way too many things to list about this. The baseline is a problem, the "J", and...everything else. The size of the first" a"...

I can't even guess what period this is supposed to be - any date window provided? These both appear simulations, poor at that.

The only thing I know about the Gleason is what was forwarded to me when it appeared earlier in the summer in an online auction.  It did not sell then, apparently.

Here's the description:

Jackie Gleason signed contract

My friend was thinking about contacting the auction house to see if it was still available.  Still not sure what he finds attractive about it.  I advised him to not give it any further consideration!

Well, it is clearly not Gleason - I don't know what he is seeing. "Please remember all sales are FINAL." is something to note.
