Hey, all.

I want to get this glossy photo signed by the whole cast someday, but I also want each Ranger's signature color to match their uniforms. This presents a problem for the yellow and pink, since regular Sharpies won't show up well in this situation. I don't want to rely on paint-pens because they often leak or smear, so does anyone have another suggestion? Thanks...

Sharpie paint pens would actually be ideal for something like this.  You can pick up yellow and pink at Michael's, I believe.

Here are a couple examples of how the Sharpie pen looks.  The ink really does stand out, and it really only takes maybe a minute to dry completely.

Good call Rich.  I would go with the Sharpie paint markers Moviefan2k4.

Thanks for all the replies, guys; are the Sharpie Neon markers already paint-pens, or do I need something separate?

The neon ones do not appear to be paint pens.  I've personally never tried them though.

No, they are not paint markers.

I think they look stunning & what is lovely is you can see the identation of the letters clearly.  Are they available in England do you think?

If you go with the paint pens, make sure you buy the fine point (easier to charge), oil-based (NOT water based) pens.  Make sure they're prepped well in advance of any signings - practice on a "throw away" photo to ensure the pens is working properly and get a feel for how they work.

Do you recommend fine-point or extra-fine point, and why?

I've used only medium and fine point (fine point is what you see in the photos above).  Medium point, strangely, produces an almost identical penstroke.  They are just bigger and a tad bit harder to prep.
