Hi guys! Just wondering if this was a real scribble by Bruce or a poor poor fake? Thanks!

and this one?

I would say 50/50  since it more difficult to sign a baseball and under diffrent circumstances.

I would not buy it.

Any ideas on the first one the seller says it was obtained a few years back at a UK venue but I dunno whether it is a fake or a rushed scribble? :/ any opinions would be great as I'm looking to maybe buy it.

Hi Aaron,

You should check out Roger Epperson's Signed Sealed Delivered if you are looking for a Bruce Springsteen autograph. Here is the link:

Hi Aaron, im not great on Bruce and only have one in my collection, but im pretty sure that ball is fake. Their doesnt look like much right about it to me compared to some that i have seen. But granted i havent seen examples from many years ago. My personal opinion of the picture is that it is fake as well. It could be rushed, but even the rushed sigs ive seen of Bruce, granted recent sigs, dont look like this. Just hang in their though, youll get some much better opinions than mine on the items.

Good luck

See my gut feeling is that its fake but because I'm after a Springsteen autograph I kinda want it to be genuine rushed scribble ha. I emailed the seller about it and they replied:

I have no idea what a PSA/DNA test involves, so I have no idea about that. I can tell you this though, if it failed such a test, they would be wrong.

I don't trust most of the so called experts, they are usually only in it for the money. There are a few people who know certain autographs, like a guy I know in Germany who specializes in McCartney, beyond that, there's no one who knows everything. Anyone who claims they do, well.....

Springsteen autographs like this one can be easily faked, ultimately it's impossible for a third party to know if this is genuine or not, unless they know where it came from. After all it's just a few lines on a piece of paper without any specifically identifiable characteristics.

I know it's genuine because I know where it came from, but if you make a few comparisons, you'll see how hard it is to know this stuff. Springsteen's scribbled autographs are nearly all different in some way or other.

I still have a signed album and it's not even worth listing it because no one would believe it, it's even looser than this one, but it's genuine. I sold a signed CD about a year ago that again was completely different, more like a regular signature. All of them genuine and all different in some way.

So I am in two minds as to whether make an offer on it or not?

Even if  it's genuine, I would not buy it. If I got it myself, I would keep it. But I would never be able to sell an autograph like that. Just because it's so different from all known signatures from Bruce. Just compare to the different Bruce that I have on my site.

So save your money and buy one that looks more like it should. That is always best in the long run.

Good Luck!

Here is a real Bruce obtained IP in NYC earlier this year and includes PSA LOA:

That is a nice signature. A little over priced in my opinion. But still a very nice autograph!
