Interestingly, that image from 1947 was still being used by the team in 1954 to promote GO TO MARS as well.  It was found on those small cards that they signed at personal appearances in a the mid-50s.  It must have been a favorite.

Interesting to compare your OP ones with these, Eric. 

These would have been around 1954 when Bud and Lou were promoting GO TO MARS.

The still might be one of two film they made in '47
