Can anyone help identify the following autographs from the 1940's

Hi peeps,

Just won an autograph book at an auction and have identified many of the names listed, however I am stuck on the following.

Most of the autographs identified were film or stage stars from the 1940's

Please see photos

Thanks.

Ps: I think the first is Clark Gable as most of the letters seem to match, but it is a bit of a scribble especially the surname.

Pps: I will add the rest bit by bit as there are 13 in total which I can't fit on this one discussion.

The Gable doesn't look right. As for the others, no clue.

the first one....i can only guess Jeanne de Casalis....british actress..

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanne_de_Casalis

the middle one looks pretty clear....bobby howe....but can't find anything on him.....

the last one is also clear Gary Davis and Jenie Mathews - can not bring anything up on either...

great old signatures.....foreign celebrities are pretty tough to relate to...especially for a southern boy like me.....

Hi Tim, doing a little more investigating Jenie Mattews turns out to be Jessie Matthews, another one down.

cant find anything on the names,,,,,lewis lynn, a burns.....shame that they are readible but cant find any support for them...

Thanks for your help, at least we have one.

The annoying thing with Google is that there is now to much information out there which makes it almost impossible to narrow a search. Sometime you look again the next day and different results will appear.

I'll keep on trying, thanks again for your help.

the middle one is interesting....it reads Rinaldi Graham....you can trace that name back to some boday in Britain named Graham Rinaldi.....it gets convoluted and then it made no sense...so i stopped looking....sorry.

Sadly that is not Clark Gable.

I've researched again and must agree with Joe W & Scott Paul that the autograph I thought might have been that of Clark Gable, is not (Sad Face).

It's still open for identification, as are all the others (9 photos, 12 autographs)

Anybody please!
