Does Carrie Fisher usually sign such funny inscriptions?  It reads, Carrie Fisher Princess & Mathematician.

Was she drunk feeding her dog chicken wings again?

I don't think so -- at least I didn't smell anything on her.  She was eccentric, though, and very funny.  She sprinkled glitter on people and/or painted designs on their foreheads using gold makeup.  She said it was part of the experience so my wife and I took it as little pieces of the force, lol.

Most often Carrie will just bang thru as many signatures as she can in a given timeframe. It is only my opinion, but anytime she decides to add anything to her autograph, some snarky comment or added inscription like "Princess" ...I consider it a major bonus. 10's of thousands of signatures have been signed by her since she started doing conventions and nearly all of them are just her signature maybe an inscription "To Mike."  Anything else is adding value to the signed piece and adding some enjoyment for the person getting the autograph.

I second Pete's comments. This is unusual and something to treasure. I have Carrie many times and usually just 'To Dan with love' or something along those lines. Well done mate!

My family and I had a Carrie Fisher filled weekend!  Saturday I was second in line for the first autograph session of the day.  That gave me a chance to snap some photos when she first showed up and while she was getting ready.  She talked with me and the 1st guy while she got things ready.  It was really cool!

We had her sign an original 1982 mint re release Empire poster.  On that one she wrote, Love to the Chervinkos/See you tonight/Carrie Fisher.

After that we had our photo taken with her.  She's very huggie.  While we were in line for the photo I realized I still had my ticket from the autograph session -- they forgot to take it!  It was valid for both Saturday and Sunday.    That night we went to her Q&A and sat 4th row center.  She was eccentric yet awesome during it, very funny, too.  The next morning I decided to try to use my ticket from the day before to get a second autograph -- the doll -- and it worked!  I feel like I got both autographs for a bargain!  Plus that second inscription is priceless!!

Great pics mate!

Very cool Mike.  Thanks for sharing.

Please keep in mind that Carrie is doing these conventions as a job for a source of income. You're bragging about the "great bargain" that you got... but what you really did is steal an autograph from Carrie in this setting. You could have ripped up the ticket, but you knowingly went back in line to trick her into signing for free. As a fellow Star Wars fan I don't find that to be cool at all.

Just try to see things from her perspective and keep in mind that she depends on that income for her living. Consider the fact that she was so nice to you on both occasions. She treated you with respect. You should have done the same for her.

I'm sorry you feel that way.  She signed a kids t-shirt during our photo op session for free and was happy to do it.  She made $50000-$75000 that weekend alone.  When I got to her manager and gave her the ticket I told her what happened -- I knew she wouldn't care.  She said, good for you.  They all were really cool.  0 guilt, 0 regrets.  Carrie knows it is easy money.

After reading that portion of the post again it does read like I deceived her, lol.  Not the case.  I guess I should have completed the story.  Too many details during an amazing weekend!

Very nice autographed and inscribed action figure Mike.  You are very lucky to own it.  Congratulations.

Was that red wine or coke in the top photo?

I picked up her autobiography recently. I'm no Star Wars fan but I liked the book a lot (short, to the point and funny). I presume she did tons of book signings - do signed copies turn up a lot?
