Clayton Kershaw Global Authentics Batch of Forgeries connects 3 "Power Sellers" on eBay

As we all know, every single day there are tons of flatout awful forgeries "certified" by Global Authentics sold on eBay. The more and more I see these, the easier they are to spot. It also is no surprise that when you find a seller selling one Global Authentics forgery, they typically have a full store full, and are typically a "power seller" on eBay.

Recently I've been seeing a new forgery style of Clayton Kershaw "authenticated" by Global Authentics pop up on eBay quite often. Not surprising, as many different forgers will get their junk "certified" by Global Authentics. (In my Puig study there are atleast 3-4 different Puig forgery styles MASS "certified" by Global Authentics).

As I began to see more of these Kershaw balls, I noticed they were of course on cheap "Official League" balls, and clearly from the same forger. One I got a little deeper I noticed that there were several eBay power sellers selling these identical forgeries.

And once I dug even deeper, I noticed that 3 different sellers are all selling the same "batch", and that the certification #'s from GA are one after another... not surprising if this was one seller, but these are three totally different sellers! Coincidence? I think not... Not surprising, a quick Google search shows that these are sellers myself and others have brought up here before.

Take a look, pretty evident to me that there is a bulk forger, a bulk authenticator, and then a bulk shipper who sends this same junk to several eBay power sellers...

So here is one listed by eBay seller ultimate-sports-man-cave , GA # 811088

Here's the same forgery style, except this is from eBay seller okauthentics and is serial numbered GA# 811089

And now here's the same forgery style, except this is from eBay seller this-n-thatsportscollectiblesplusmore , this one serial numbered GA# 811090

Amazing isn't it? Three different "power sellers" on eBay, who all happened to sell tons of forgeries certified by Global Authentics magically get the same exact "batch" of Clayton Kershaw forgeries, all "certified" one after another...

Great work, Ryan!!!

They finally got one forger to do all their Aaron Rodgers sigs.  Consequently, I can pretty consistently tell it's a GA forgery before I even see a cert.

I know that not everything certified by GA is fake, however, they concern me to the point where I've tried to sell or trade all of the stuff that I have certified by GA even though they look legit.  The couple things I have left, I actually peeled the GA sticker off and am working on getting re-certed by JSA or PSA.

Just like GAI, when you see the GA sticker there is a much greater chance it is a forgery than an authentic autograph. Which is quite sad for an eBay approved "authenticator".

Yes, they get some right occasionally. Even a blind squirrel will find a nut every once in awhile.
Here is the same forger on the sweet spot, more Global Authentics JUNK being sold by eBay seller ultimate-sports-man-cave
