It's odd that Cole's offered the book weeks later than Waterstones (even though, according to the description, it's also the signed first edition).

But the offer sold out quickly—did anyone manage to snag a copy?

That was the only place I seen that sold to the US too... but shipping was £30 or something. Still well worth it for the price.

It's not that odd, really. Big chains like Waterstones usually make a fixed deal for a certain number of signed books, whereas independent bookstores often have to wait until release to know the definitive number of signed copies they will get. It could even be that David and Polly signed more bookplates to boost sales numbers, which might be why these come up after the official release date.

No USA shipping unfortunately,

Thank you!

Thank you for sharing, I hope everyone who wanted one has had the chance to buy one (at least those in the UK).

I noticed that the link now only says Hardback, not signed bookplate anymore. So I think these are sold out.

Gracias!!! Expecting mine here in México.

Dang missed them, congrats to those who got one, thanks for posting. Ive been searching for any in the US but no luck.

£75 now, rip off

Was just going to post the same thing.
