Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera early signatures Greensboro Hornets signed

I have early Jeter and Mariano signatures that I just had framed, and I was just curious if there was much value to them since they are only signed newspaper pictures.  I'm not going to sell as it's a piece representing my hometown and love of baseball.  Take a look and let me know what you think as far as value.  Again, just curious.  FullSizeRender.jpg

One thing I've never understood about Jeter autos, is that his new Steiner stuff sells for much more than the old minor league sigs... Completely backwards IMO. The Jeter is quite faded which will hurt it, but it does look like an authentic older sig. I'm not as familiar with MO's old sigs. Assuming both authentic, I think if you sold this with no LOA's you would be looking at $200-$300 IMHO. If you had both the signatures authenticated, I could see this going for $300-$450 to the right buyer. If you obtained both autos personally, you should definitely hang on to it man!

Thanks Ryan.  They are both authenticated by PSA and I obtained both of them.  I've heard Jeter's old signatures go for more.  I sold a ball with Jeter on it from '92 and some other random players for $750 without authentication earlier this year.

Nice, now is definitely the time to sell if you plan on letting it go!

Definitely not going to.  Like I said in my original post, I was just curious as to the value.  It's a sweet piece that shows my hometown and part of my childhood.

Old signature styles are a plus, but the newspaper is a value killer. They yellow and signatures tend to fade very badly on them. A few hundred bucks at most in my opinion.
