Two ‘authenticated” Knotts photos from Beckett. Do I even have to say it?

The face of "Barney Fife" in the first photograph says all that needs to be said about both autographs.  The first one looks like someone who also fakes Mickey Mantle a lot.   I think TPAs have their place, although I do not use them.  I have long been in a minority when I advocated all TPAs should have the name of the person or persons who actually "authenticated" the signature on the certificate.  Also, certificates should be dated.  If they get busy, do they shove a lot of entertainment autographs off to their Olympic Volleyball expert?  Of course, certificates and stickers have been faked, but that does not appear to be the case in these two.

There was/is a prolific eBay forger who does the Hollywood celeb type trading cards in massive volume. I suspect the first example is from that source.
