Just a warning for those interested. It's another with a signed certificate of authenticity. Not a signed CD/LP or artcard.
Looks like all have a Certificate of Authenticity Signed by Duff. Limited to 4 per customer. Meh.
$82.50 shipped to Germany - and a certificate - looks like a pass.
But anyway - thanks for sharing!
Customer Service Department: "Every time a signed product is released we get swamped by requests for something called a COA!"
Marketing Department: "Why don't we have the artist sign a COA instead of an art card, it doesn't cost us a cent extra to produce and sales will skyrocket!"
Sales Department: "Sales of the the latest releases are way behind target, how can that be?"
The COA tsunami has begun...
If that was the case then they need to send a COA for the COA. What does a COA even mean in a case where the cd isn't signed? You got an actual Duff cd?
I'm confused on the UK website it states
This bundle contains:
Does this mean you get a signed CD and a signed COA?
I don't see the signed options in the UK store, probably an IP thing because I'm in the EU.
The text would suggest both but logic would dictate you only get the COA signed. They probably copied the header text (they call everything signed CD even if it's a separate signed item included). Something similar happened with the Def Leopard vinyls.
Best case they will promise to make it right like the Avril booklets and then you'll never hear from them again.
Can you imagine how nice, cool and efficient things would be if these shops/webstores were actually run and managed by fans and/or collectors. These dumbasses have no idea what theyre doing, just moving units.
All I want is a signed COA stating that the original COA is legitimate followed by another COA stating the first 2 COA's are probably, most likely authentic. You know, the Bob Dylan way of doing business. 3 levels of BS to wade through and still unsure of the item's authenticity.
I'm ROFL about this. It's like they did an online search for certificates and copy-pasted some random elements together, from the 90's COA-font to the golden seal.
"Not valid unless signed". Valid for what? If he forgets to sign it, will the album be considered a bootleg?
