Eagles band experts, need your help! New member here :-)

Hello all..I ran into the site after searching for fellow collectors who love The Eagles. I have a guy I ran into selling his entire 40 yr collection of autographs, two of which I intend to buy if genuine. He "guarantees them for life" with his own COA (which I know means nothing) and money back BUT the trouble is when I mentioned I was going to send them to PSA for authentication he balked immediately and said he "had no respect for PSA/DNA or JSA" as there were so many stories of them getting it wrong. That red flagged me immediately but of course the honest (naive) person inside wants to believe everyone. Been burned before so this time before I pay I want to get third party opinions. I saw the thread for the Greatest Hits albums and you guys added some very educated thoughts on it, and the majority felt the sigs were fake. He also has a GH album that I've attached as well. More of those sigs looked suspicious to me, but again, I defer to you.

This guy did send back my money immediately via paypal as I had sent payment. That was the one saving grace and makes me wonder if the guy really is telling the truth. Heck maybe you guys know him (David Davis out of Chicago). He has a website with space-themed autographs that he claims to be passing down to his grandkids. He also has a huge Craigslist ad (yes red flag #2) with all these other autographs.

Without the CL bias, look at these scans he sent me and tell me what you think. I checked them against known PSA certified photos and felt everything except the Glenn Frey looked right. Then again I am not an expert. I think you all see details (errors) I am not familiar with.

It's one of those "too good to be true" things and my gut tells me yet again, it is. Your opinions are very welcome and much needed!

AB..no I dont own anything by them yet. I've looked for years and when this popped up I figured too good to be true. I saw you sent me a message but I'm so new to the site I cant figure out how to reply to individual messages.

Hopefully I'll get a few more opinions. I know one member (Steve?) had an excellent 80's collection and I'm hoping he will add his thoughts. If they are fake, well it's back to the drawing board lol.

I'm glad y poste these. The first one is bad, I know for a fact the Timothy is bad, no way he signed it. The second one is bad.

The third one I thought had a shimmer of hope, but it was lost once I glanced over at the Frey. The Frey and the meisner look to be the same hand.

These are just my opinions, I've only gotten Timothy to sign items for me in the past, though the I've tried every member and had many no's.

Kenny..thanks. My heart is sinking but I was prepared for a letdown. This is my favorite band of all time and represents some of the best memories of summer vacations with my dad. I don't have anything by them and of course the prices being asked nowadays are ridiculous, so I may just have to end up with this hole in my collection.

Still would like to get more opinions. Is there an area to post up known or potential scammers? This guy has a website that looks pretty well done.

A genuine signed Eagles album would be hard to come by, and probably cost well north of four figures. I don't have one, but I do have a framed Hotel California piece signed by Henley, Frey, Walsh, Felder and Meisner that I'm thinking about selling. If you're interested, please let me know, I'll send photos to your email.

Matt,I'm pretty sure this guy is a total scammer.I recognize his page from an ad that was posted here in California a couple weeks back.He said the whole 'gonna hand stuff down to his grandchildren' yadda yadda......I was interested in one of his items and when he sent me a picture all the sigs looked the same.Real similar to the Eagles album you have above.When i asked details and said I was suspicious of the signatures since they all looked similar and mentioned psa,he  got mad and told me to go elsewhere and pay more $!
