Yes guys, Ebay has done it to me again.
Ebay has once again removed an auction of mine that contained an authentic autographed baseball from Mickey Mantle.
First, just below, my authentic Mickey Mantle autographed baseball that Ebay removed two day ago.
As you can see, it is a no-brainer, authentic Mickey Mantle autograph on a baseball.
Below is the Message Of Removal that I received from a moron representative from Ebay.
After reviewing your eBay account, we've taken the following action:
- Listings have been removed. A list of items that were removed can be viewed at the bottom of this message.

In my opinion, EBay is attacking me for my exposing of forgeries on their auction site.
In my opinion, Ebay does not like me exposing the sellers of forgeries that contribute to their salaries and bonuses.
Am I interfering with their profit machine from the sales of forgeries?
Of course I'm not; the sellers of forgeries have been running amok selling forgeries for years on Ebay.
Following "Operation Bullpen" Ebay was NOT held accountable for the millions of dollars of forgeries that were sold on the Ebay auction site.
Is Ebay now condoning the listing and selling of forgeries on their auction site?
This is the third time Ebay has removed an auction of mine that contained an authentic autograph.
While Ebay continues to remove my authentic autograph auctions, they allow and approve the listings and selling of GFA (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators) headed by Steve Rocchi.
I have exposed numerous sellers of GFA certed forgeries, and as far as I know, Ebay has never removed a GFA certed forgery listing.
There is too much money and profits to be made from the sales of GFA certed forgeries.
Sellers of GFA certed forgeries include Ebay sellers Mccauleyjr2006, Roma-Jak, Dbvint123, Stevew6, Rbisportsinc and others.
The "Florida" forgeries are also a big seller on Ebay.
Ebay does not remove the "Florida" forgeries.
Again, there is too much money to be made from the sales of the "Florida" forgeries.
This Monday I will be sending my authentic Mickey Mantle autographed baseball to PSA.
When it comes back, I will have more to add to this thread.
Ebay and John Donahoe don't want to lose the fees associated with a sold item.
I have no doubt about that, Sam. I've known that for years.
Richard Simon made a good point about "the bad guys winning the autograph wars."
Maybe not the "wars," but definitely the battles sometimes.
In my opinion, there is a bad element inside Ebay.
The fact that ebay purposely removes items they know are genuine from a person just because he has morals, while going out of their way to ignore facts and complaints about individuals who they KNOW sell forgeries....tells you everything on what type of company Ebay is. Disgraceful!
It is absolutely disgraceful, Dom.
They raised my blood pressure enough tonight that I had to go downstairs to the basement and hit the bag for a while!

I figured this would happen again at some point. I have had NO QUESTION authentic items (just like this beautiful ball) pulled by eBay as well, and I too think there are people within eBay who do not like us messing with their profit of forgeries. This just reinforces that, as we all know how hard it is to get any item pulled recently.
As Dom said, I too have reported some sellers/items 10-20x, and their auctions survive. This is definitely some sort of personal attack, whether it is from eBay or a seller(s) you have exposed. I once had a seller I exposed buy a Jeter ball just to immediately leave negative feedback saying I sold forgeries...this is the type of scum we have to deal with in this hobby.
eBay is a cesspool of garbage forgeries. 99% of the "Best Matches" for a particular search are GARBAGE. eBay PROMOTES THE SALES OF FORGERIES. Plain and simple. It is absolutely sickening how many flat out SCAMS survive via eBay, and eBay has a "It's up to the buyer to decide" motto of late. If that is going to be the "motto", then why are they pulling ANYTHING?
Here is something that shows how ass-backwards this hobby/eBay are: It is easier to sell a forgery with a bogus COA, than it is to sell an authentic item without one. Think about that. It's unreal.
I told a guy yesterday his Banana Mantle was a common forgery and he should get a refund. He told me his Mom met Mantle in 1993 and got it signed herself, and that I am a piece of s*** and threatened me. This is the type of morons we have to deal with in this hobby.
Keep doing what you do Christopher, one day we will have the last laugh.
